What size dogs do you board?
I board small dogs [approximately 20 lbs or less].
Will my dog be left alone in your home with your dogs during the day?
Sometimes, yes. No more than 3 hours and that’s spread throughout a whole day and not every day. Between clients we play, often in the indoor and outdoor spaces at my nearby training facility.
Where will my dog sleep?
Wherever they're most comfortable. With your permission, they're welcome to sleep in my bed.
Can you care for senior dogs or dogs with special needs?
Absolutely. I've cared for my own dogs through their senior years and am comfortable with hearing loss, vision loss, and reduced mobility.
My dog is anxious or reactive. Can they still board?
Often, yes. As a Certified Behavior Consultant, I'm experienced with emotionally sensitive dogs. Let's talk about your dog's needs so we can decide together whether boarding is a good fit.
How is pricing calculated?
Boarding is $70 per night, with 30% off each additional dog from the same family.
Can my dog get training while they board?
Yes! Upgrade to my Small Dog Board & Train program, and your dog gets personalized, reward-based training throughout their stay.
In-home, family-style boarding for small dogs in North Seattle
Looking for small dog boarding in Seattle where your pup is treated like family, not kept in a kennel? When your dog stays with me, they live in my home as part of my two-dog household. They have full access to the house, are welcome on the furniture, and, if it's okay with you, can sleep in my bed at night.
Boarding With a Certified Behavior Consultant
As a Certified Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA) and Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), I can meet your dog where they are. That includes dogs who are emotionally sensitive or have behavior challenges. I'm also Fear Free Certified and certified in Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid, so your dog is in experienced, caring hands.
A Day in the Life
My training facility is about 3 minutes away from my house so they spend very little time alone. I often bring my dogs to the training space to play in its large indoor and outdoor spaces.

You are charged per night. I can accommodate most people’s schedules so you have flexibility to drop off and pick up when it’s most convenient for you.
